Finally got the X! Flew from St Louis to Baltimore and picked her up in Quarryville, PA. The new truck is a an 05 Black Limited V10, 3.73 LS, chrome running boards, tows mirrors, DVD, 18,000 miles. The drive was approx 850 home today and it was smooth sailing. Great ride. I am picking up a little shimmy when breaking. Other than that, absolutely perfect! My wifes only comment-"it's big".
You'll find a lot of threads regarding the front brake rotors on these behomeths. I too have that problem and have just ordered and received my cryo treated Powerslot rotors from Mark at DPPI.
Hey, good for you..... I love mine too!! It is always a good thing when your wife says it is big!
I really love the truck, ride is awesome, comfort is amazing and it really is a big truck..... tough to park in some tight lots but, back-up alarm works well for that.
My friend called a Texas Cadillac..... seems to fit!
Thanks guys. I monitored mileage once I was out of mountains and averaged about 14.5 over 500 miles. Definitely happy about that. Looks like the mfg date is 3/05.
