Does anyone know the sequence to realign the factory towing mirrors so they can be done with the switch in the cab. Mine go up if told to go right and left if told to go down ect. ( From too many brush impacts ). Thanks
That doesn't sound like a mirror problem. It actually sounds like either a user problem or the switch is fliped somehow. I guess it's possible that trash is stuck behind the mirror on the non powered side.
The way most power mirrors work is this: in the middle of the mirror is a crusiform that the mirror pivots on. Straight above the crusiform is a stud that goes into a "powered nut". Then toward the cab is another just like the top. From those two points the mirror is adjusted up/down and left/right.
