leveling kit

Has anyone tried the various front end leveling kits for the 04-06 F-150? Does it require realignment of the front end? Are there any adverse effects from these kits? I just purchased an 06 Lariat s/c 4x4 and was wondering about the kit.

Got the autospring around June '06, love it and easy to install. All leveling kits require an alignment of the toe. With the autospring the factory ride is the exact same.

Agreed. I recently put on a autospring 2.5" on my 2004 FX4 and the ride is the same as before. Yes it needs an alignment.

Yep just put an autospring 2.5" on my 04 Screw 4x4. Makes it look like a 4x4 and yes you will need an alignment.

Got my 2.5" off of ebay for $80, I think. You can go to either their site or ebay and get the same deal. Mine goes in December 7th along with new struts. I've heard nothing but good about the autospring leveling kits that's the reason I'm trying that brand.

There's some pictures in my gallery with 295's. Note that the truck is level, it's just parked on a slope....

toddlarry....those tires look awesome on the truck with the leveling kit. Would those tires fit on stock 2004 f-150 wheels?

Thank you. Took forever to figure out what I wanted! They should fit without a problem. Nitto recommends an 8" wheel, the factory is 7.5".

They also have a 285/70-17. The difference is only about 1/2" in width and diameter.
