I'm new with the diesel trucks that's why i have so many post and sorry if some of the questions i have have already popped up, i try not to do it.
My question is i just got a 2000 f250 and it came with a superchip and before the chip i was pushing 18psi wot and now i'm pushing 20psi wot. Now driving around town i usually get up to 10psi or lower. When do I need to start worrying about how much boost is too much boost? I only plan to get a afe stage 2 intake or k&n since my truck already has 4" exhaust and the chip.
the stock pcm doesn't defuel till about 25psi, stock turbo's are good to 28-30psi. I've seen gt38's run @ 35psi regularly.
With the stock turbo if your under 30psi watch your egts, that what will go first. 1200 is a fairly safe #.
