General '77 Questions
I'm looking to buy a '77 (not a 4x4). Where do I find out the differences between the 77's i.e. XLT etc. What site can give this info? I like the two-tone look. What models offered that? Or do I just paint any model that way? Are there any Ford Truck clubs north of Seattle? Anything else I should be aware of?

If you know of a swap meet coming up in your area.
Go to it and look for a Publication seller.
You want to find an original 77 Ford Truck Brochure.
There is ALWAYS someone selling Books,brochures,manuals at swap meets.

The answer to your question:
No,It's more than likely a 351M
Look to see if the thermostat housing comes out of the front of the engine Block.
Tell him it's probably a 351 Modified,see what he says.

But then again have you seen the posts in the 351 fourm dennis? seems no one can agree on what it means. everything from modified to midland and now magnum. at least they didnt my a more common letter in there like 351S. uh gee it could be snake, storm, stanford......
