leaf Spring bushing

Hay all:

This may be a dumb question. I have an 93 F150 ext cab 2 wheel drive.

I'm getting this loud poping niose that seems to locate comming from the leaf spring. "where it bolts up to the rear bracket" My question is. Is there a bushing in there ? or maybe is there suppose to be a bushing in there ?

you sure the rear leaf shackle did not rust away?

Yea. I know the noise is comming from there because I sprayed WD 40 on it

But It looks like there was a part of a bushing in there at one time

than you need to replace the bushing.
