I am trying to identify a 1961 ford engine that came from a 1961 galaxie.
the block # is C1AE6015-G, the heads are C1AE6090-A and the intake is C1AE9425-A. I am restoring an old 1967 custom pickup and having problems finding the right motor mounts that will line up with the frame saddle mounts. This is my first restoration attempt and need help.
Sounds like you have a 292 engine, which isn't very interchangeable with anything from a '67 pickup, which would have been either a six, windsor, or Fe engine, unless you use the 292 bell and transmission, and fabricate your mounts and linkages. That's what I've gathered, anyway. Though I should point out I dont' have any first hand experience with the six cylinder pickups, if that's what you have.
