1990 e-350 belt problem
has anyone has this similar problem? my 1990 E-350 with a 460/aod keeps "throwing" the power steering belt. i use the van for towing purpose's. it happens on startup and if you have worked on a van of any year they really suck! the belt is serpitine style. with all the stormy weather lately here in the pacific northwest i like to keep a extra rig going. the positive of the discovery is this problem arose at a non critical time. any thoughts? could the belt be bad from sitting? i really don't want to waste any more time putting the old belt back on if simply purchasing a new one will solve this problem! thanks
