3" body lift
. I take it you are trying to do a budget lift? Please do not use a body lift. Not only are they dangerous, but there are also so many modifications you need to make to a new truck, that you will probably not save any money in the long run (And you will have a truck that does not perform nearly as well as it would have if you stuck with a true suspension lift). But hey, what do I know? I was one of Tabasco's main investors.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you analyze what you want to do with your truck before you put a body lift on it. If you are doing it for show and rarely off road then MAYBE it would be a good idea. A friend put a 3 in body lift when he bought his truck in 04' and has almost tipped his truck while the rest of us made it through SAND just fine. (all the rest of us have sus. lifts) As ALL lifts raise the center of gravity...body lifts raise only the cabin's making more strain on the body bolts which in turn COULD RESULT TO BODY ROLL on curves.
I have to agree with WheelMA1 on the performance difference.
**Note**
I wheel my truck at least 2 a month in both Sand And Mud (river passings to get to a ranch). So my use of truck may differ from others.
