It clearly says -> No wiring upgrade necessary.
But on the Nokya package, it says:
Warning: Wiring harness highly recommended!
So............................ which is correct?
I would believe the factory packaging and not the marketing of an ebay salesman.
There statement about only drawing 55W but putting out 80W is flat wrong, if the bulb is putting out 80W then it is drawing 80W. Watts are determined by multipling Volts times Amps.
55W = 12V x 4.58A
80W = 12V x 6.67A
So you increased your amp draw with the two lights from 9.16A to 13.34A so now you are drawing an additional 4.18A thru the wiring that is a 45% increase. That is a big jump for the wires to handle.
Hope this helps
