super duty 4wd issue
working on an 03 f350 super duty 7.3l. Initial issue no 4wd. No light or t-case engagement. Found broken gear in actuator assembly on t-case. Put new assembly on still wouldn't work. While we were trying to get it to work we smelled burning. new motor was burning up. for some reason it appeared to have been engaged at the end of its travel continuously while we were in the truck. Checked all relays etc and seem ok so installed new gem module still won't work. pulling hair out here, missing something. it also cooked another used motor so it wasn't just a bad motor assembly. thanks everybody
