I brought my truck home yesterday. We gave it a good bath and took a quick look at the engine. Follow the web link in my gallery to see some pictures and commentary.
I got a better look at the front. It took a hit in the grill some time ago and it looks like the sheet metal sags on the passenger side. It isn't crumpled or dented which leads me to believe maybe the mounts got tweaked. Anybody care to take a guess what the problem is?
Now if I could just hit the lottery I could have it done in time for the 100th Anniversary. Is Ford planning anything special next year to celebrate 100 years?
Kevin, my 54 sagges a little on the right side to just not as bad, I think your leafs on the right side are weaker than the ones on the left, some people prefer that because when the driver gets in it equals out.
Hey, my 56 has eight leaves on the left and six on the right. I've heard that people used to try to even them out when they drove by doing this. I now have new springs to go in as soon as I get the time. Also, front and rear sway bars from quickor. I can't hardly wait to get under the thing!
