Unhappy 2001 EXPY - Lock Actuator Rivet

The rivet holding the lock actuator on the left rear door failed. So when the power lock is activated, the lock on that door doesn't move, but the actuator does flop around in the door. I've got the rivet out of the actuators bracket and I'm ready to re-mount the actuator. I've tried replacing the rivet with a nut and bolt, but I can't seem to slip a bolt (with lock washer) into the bracket long enough to remount the actuator.

Any ideas on where I can find a rivet that big OR a possible replacement?
Does anyone know what size that rivet is?

Hi and welcome to the forum

It's a 1/4" rivet, about 1/2" long and takes a big rivet gun to pop it. Your dealer will have the rivets in stock. Possibly a local parts store will lend you the rivet gun you'll need.

dmorgan you were right, after a bit of playing around, I was able to slip a smaller bolt in there. Its been working perfect since.
