has anyone used a Saab hinge setup?
I was at the pick and pull over the weekend getting some Jeep parts and had a chance to look at the forward tilt hood setup on a Saab 900, looks like a relatively clean setup...just wondering if anyone has tried it and had success?
I just can't justify $400+ for the aftermarket tilt kit...I have more time than $$$

I have a Saab 900 and was wondering if it would work. But it isn't really heavy-duty, the Saab hood is pretty light. It also doesn't support the rear of the hood, and is designed to slide the hood backwards almost a foot, so you'd need something to support/guide the rear of the hood as it slides back.
