Type F

Having had C-6's around in years past, I've got the better part of a case of Type F in the garage, and don't know that I'll ever again have something to dump it into.

Can anyone give me a good reason not to flush the hydro-boost system and use it there? What would anything in that system care about friction modifiers? There's no modifiers at all, as far as I remember, in Type F.

Anybody?

I'd pour mine in the fuel tank and get a few more miles down the road. I often fill my front tank with used ATF or hydraulic oil and drive on it.

That's not eggsactly what I had in mind to do with it. This isn't used oil.

Any other thoughts out there?

Type F --- hmmm, i think I would just use it and Power Steering fluid.

Funny, for as long as I have owned a car/truck I have never used actual power steering fluid.
