vacumm lines

The big silver colored canister on the passenger side wheelwell.The rear line off of the can goes to a round metal vac T coming off of the pass. side of the intake.It points to the pass side and looks like a hex shaped piece of pipe threaded into the intake.The other one looks like it is routed under the intake around to the vac solenoids(for what I don't know) on the driver side right above the cyl. number 6 spark plug.I went out and looked at mine just now.It's dark but I tried to chace the lines down as best I could.Mine is an 88 F-150 300 auto so they should be the same

hey i got a 91 efi 6 and the coffee can lookin thing on my pass side fendwr well has a big hose comin from it goin to nothing and another one goin to some pump lookin thing on the motor. and i dont believe there is anything else hooked up to it. am i right or wrong? anyone kno what it is?
