Yep ... some of the folks fishing the Southern Kingfish Association show up with some really go fast boats. Sometimes I wonder where all of the money comes from.

They are some pretty spectacular vessels. Basically offshore racing hulls outfitted for fishing. The nature of these King mackeral tournaments is such that you have to be able to cover some serious distance in a short time.

The downside is that riding in a 30' boat at 40-50 mph in a 4-6 ft. chop will beat the snot out of you.
