351 Bellhousing patterns...

351 Bellhousing patterns...
Are all 351W bellhousing patterns the same? I'm thinking of bolting up a ZF transmission from an early 90's f-150 with a 351W to a 351W out of an 85 E-250 that had a c6 behind it. Just want to make sure all the bolt patterns were the same.

As far as I know and this forum tends to read, Yes a 351W has the same transmission house bolt pattern for all years of its production run. It shares this bolt pattern with the 302 and a few of the 289's. I am not an expert on the complete history of the 351W, but you can find almost anyone to answer it.
