Hey guys just hit 102k in my 04' Scab and my Transfer Case as well as my Transmission are going out as well as skipping gears when put into 4lo and at hi RPM in 4hi...any quick fixes or similar problems out there.... I wonder if anybody has as many miles in an 04'....
what do you mean by high rpms? you've got to remember the transfer case changes your gearing pretty significantly. I can go 10 mph in 3rd gear while in 4lo. I'll sometimes see 3000-4000 rpm before a shift. that is normal. the transmission will be jerky
I don't know if you 4x4 much, but from my past experience, these drivetrains last a long time. my 93 Bronco had the E4OD and BW 1356 (both original from Factory) in it and I had over 300,000 miles. the combo worked perfectly.

Reason: specify my statement
I offroad quite a bit...Im always in sand and deep mud. As for my trans. parts getting serviced...both rear and front pumkin and the trans. case and mission are serviced every 15k. It would make a popping noise while in reverse and a couple of revs in fwd in deep mud.
