Engine swap
My first actual post here. Bought a 65 6cyl 3-on-the-tree not too long ago and have read about upgrades here on the site. So much good info here!! Since the search feature is down, I'll have to ask here about an engine swap. I have a line on a 69 mustang 302 engine that's been setting up for over a year. Is this a swap that my current tranny can handle? Advice on preparing an engine to start up after months setting around out of car?

outdoors out of a car or enclosed ? Outdoors I'd pull the valve covers and oil pan and have a look see..rust/etc.. Indoors maybe just give it a oil change..no flushing just a few frequent changes to start with, ignition tune up... prime the oil pump and have at it. Bob
