Post Fuel Tank Padding
Does anyone know what Ford used to prevent the Tank straps from chaffing on the fuel tank? Or a modern alternative? I was thinking nilon but that may hold moisture.

Fuel Tank Padding
i was told to use "topper tape" the stuff used to mount toppers so you dont scratch the box any ideas about this anyone? i'm not replacing the tank with steel but plastic.

Fuel Tank Padding
on my 58 I have rubber pads that keep the straps from diggin in on a bumby road. I know that lmc truck has these and also f100.com. Might want to try theses sites to find them..
