quickie door question

Anyone know if the rear doors opening and closing will wake the GEM? Say you left your front doors open until the battery saver kicks off the lights and then you open/close a rear door, will the cargo/int lights come on?

That's a good question. In my wife's mini-van, once the battery saver kicks off, the only way to get the interior lights back on, is to cycle the ignition switch (opening the rear doors does not cause the lights to come on again).

It's one of the possible symptoms of my door ajar problem. Knowing how it's suposed to work, might help me figure out what's going on.

I checked it tonight. I left the driver door open until the interior lights went out. With the driver door still open, I opened the left rear passenger door. The lights came on again. Hope this helps.
