Hi Guys,
I have a 1988 F250 xlt diesel and i am having a problem with the seat belts. No matter how hard i pull on the shoulder belt i can not get it to lock. Do i need a belt upgrade or is their an adjustment that can be made to put this right, as i don't feel very safe at the moment.

There are two types of belt locking mechanisms. One that will lock with a swift pull and another that locks with inertia when the truck slows rapidly. The inertia lock can not be pulled to lock. Both work well.
