Dealer Reprogram????
Am new to the site, currently serving a second tour in Iraq at the moment. My wife took my 2005 PS Super Duty to the dealership for an oil change, while it was there, she said they told her they had to reprogream the computer so that my baby will confirm to new "EPA Guidelines". The result of this is lowered fuel mileage. Since I haven't been home to drive it I am expecting less power from my Power Stroke also. Anyone else heard of or had this happen to them? Will a tuner change this?

More than likely a tuner will regain some of your losses. Most likely it was detuned to save your transmission, 05's had a few issues.
Anyhow, get a tuner, you will like the extra 60-110 hp and the 2-3 mpg increase.
