cab clearance light question
hey guys, i have an 87 F-250 that has the factory cab clearance lights on it. They are not working and I am apparently not getting any juice to them because if I take them off and put 12v to them they light up briliantly. I can't seem to find the fuse that is for them or where the wires run from, the headlight switch? or somewhere else? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Your clearance lights run off the main light switch. There should be a brown and black wire running to them. Brown is 12v and black is ground. This wire runs to the switch. From the switch a tan and white wire run to the fuse box in location #4 this is a 15 amp fuse. The back of your fuse box cover will tell you which one is #4. I hope this helps.

Check wher the wire comes down post and trace to feed .2 trucks had splice into parking light wiring and wasn't making conection. I bought 1 of these new so this cheese splice set up is out there. Good Luck
