Hey guys. I just have to post this. Iam doing new rotors,wheel bearings and axel joints on my 90 f150 4x4 and I am amazed at the fact that when I got the hub/rotor off the passenger side there was a rock between the rotor and spindel that had torn the bearing seal apart but there was still grease in there and the bearing was fine and it did not look like it had happened any time recently.The drivers side looks as though the o ring at the lock out hub was not put back in when who ever worked on it before I owned it and the grease was milky white like water has gotten in there,while cleaning the hub out I found a large splinter of what looks like a broom stick and a bunch of pine needles!I cannot belive that I have been driving this truck for almost a year like that and neither side has ate the bearings it is amazing to me. I have had wheel bearings go for alot less. I would like to know who worked on this truck before me so I can tell everyone I know to avoid him like the plague.All that and my ford kept on a rollin, Now Im goin to tackel upper and lower ball joints on the passenger side so I can put her back together.BTW ball joints are original and lasted 100k miles pretty damn good in my book.
