Fog Lights???
Does anyone know if i can use 9005 or any other kind of bulbs in my fog lights instead of 9145.
Also does anyone know what 9005, 9006, 9007 and the other kinds of bulbs stand for?
I'm looking to use on the road but safely.

The fastner on the foglight mostly dictates the type of bulb.
9005 and 9006 are single filament bulbs, one is usually the high and the other is low beam. 9004 and 9007 are dual filament bulbs, 9004 is typically a chevy lamp and 9007 are common in Fords and dodges. H4 is very popular in imports and motor cycles. H1,2,and 3 are smaller single filament bulbs, usually fog lights or moderate draw lighting. Some fog lights o use the 9005/6 bulb, but I don't know applications off hand.

9145 is a 45 watt bulb. 9155 is a 55 watt version.
Like Reax said, the other bulbs are for headlight applications, not aux lighting and foglights.
You can go to www.sylvania.com and type in the bulb numbers and get lots of info on them.
