I have an 06 F-250 supercab short bed and was wondering if anyone has, or knows of anywhere to get a cap for my truck? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
If you are looking for a soft tonneau cover, you might want to consider the Truxedo Lo Profile, which we manufacturer. It has automatic tension control and a life-time warranty. It's also very durable. Check out truxedo.com for more info.
The Truxedo is a great product, ive installed many of them here at the body shop. People seem to like the ease of use on them. Best product ive seen for a soft tonneau cover.

I have one on my 06 I think its a Century but I saw a ARE (I think) And the fit was the best I have ever seen. Check the fit at the rear of the bed (by the tail gate) where the bed rail kind of slops down at the end. A good topper will slop down too. Hope this helps. Good luck
Glad to help. There are a number of other brands, Snug Top, ARE, etc. If you do a google search you should be able to find other sites. The Leer site is relatively clean and easy to navigate though, and from what I've seen their product is pretty good. I'm trying to convince the wife we need a Leer, Browning edition.
Ace, be careful with the leers. I had nothing but problems with mine. They are supposed to be high quality but my back glass was always out of adjustment and the fiberglass was cracking all over the place. I sold it for next to nothing just to get a Century. The Century is pretty nice. I have had 2 now. I would steer clear of the leers.
ARE, LEER, SnugTop, Century...there are a lot of them out there.
I have a CoverMaster. I bought it used off of Craigslist a few weeks ago. $325. Sure beats the $2100 ARE I spec'd out at a the local dealer.
I would prefer a shell with skirted sides like the ARE Z series. My shell doesn't have a slider front window, but it does fold down for ease of cleaning. At first I wanted the more "SUV like" pop out windows, but now I am very happy with these slider windows. It lets a good amount of air in and cools the bed quickly...good for camping or animals in the bed. Overall I am very pleased for the $350 I have in it (added some lights, new keys made).
I purchased a LEER/Browning special edition last year and have had no problems with it yet. (knock on wood). I like the SE version because it has a lockable gun case built into the ceiling.
I have a ASTRO on mine. LED model with carpet linning, oversized side windows and front slider. cost was $1099.00 if you go to thier website you can get a $50.00
