I am considering buying a 2003 F150 SuperCrew 4x2 XLT 4.6L 60K. They are asking $17,000 for it.
Is this a fair price?
Any major issues with this particular year model, engine, body?
Would I be better off going for a year newer and getting the newer body style?
Sounds REALLY high for a 4.6 4x2 XLT, especially with 60k miles. The 01-03 Crews are great, I haven't had 1 issue with my 02 besides the cruise control recall.
But for that price, you should be able to get a 5.4 4x4 FX4 or Lariat. I would think this truck would be more like $13-13.5k.
I'm sure I can get them to come down. I could live with out the truck I just would like to have a little more room. Things are starting to get a little tight in my 02 regcab. Thanks for the input laketrout!
