turbo problems
So I went to the dealer to have my 1997 f-250 7.3 looked at and they said the 2,6,and 7 glow plugs are bad as well as my ebp and ebp boot?? Then they said the base of my turbo is leaking oil because its cracked and needs to be replaced soon so if i am replacing the turbo what should i buy that is an upgrade but not to much $$$ money $$$ also any thought on glow plugs and ebp?? thanks

I would bet the turbo pedistol orings are bad not a crack. Or the other chance of leak would be around the rod to the exhaust back pressure valve. Either one would'nt need a turbo replacment. If your mechanically inclined its not too bad of a job to change the glow plugs and while your at it pull the turbo and check it out. I'm lost as to what your calling the egc???
$$$$ glow plugs are $10 at the most a piece and new orings are fairly cheap also.
