The answer to your question would depend on what year truck you are working on. Give us a little more information.

My research has been limited to the 57 - 60. Fatman makes the only kit for these and everyone that has used one has been pleased. I haven't done mine yet. There are a few others guys here that have done the early years and I'll let them speak of that. I have talked to Fatman and their support is very good. I think you would be happy with a Fatman kit. All companies come with different levels of completetion. They range from around $500 to $3000 depending on what you want. Visit some of the web sites that these companies have to get an idea of what is available.

I got mine for my 50 f1 from Rod Parts Wharehouse the price was the best and it was a heidts crossmember with power rack tubular a-arms, 11 in large rotors it went for $1635 that was 2 years ago they may have gone down. Was good service and all worked out to be a kinda simple install being my first. ED ke6bnl@juno.com

I just found there most recent add in Street Rodder Mag. Rodparts Warehouse. 1800 373 5773 They show the complete hub to bus for $1362 power or manual. The Rack was a rebuilt from 84 T Bird I paid extra for the 11" Gm rotors and the tubular a-arms which don't require that silly extra support bar. I had good service from the company and when I was short a part they had it to me no questions asked in a short time. The rack comes with the rack extenders to prevent bump steer. I thought the hardest part was grinding and measuring for the boxing plates. My 16 year old boy tig welded the parts in. They come with the springs, shocks, and everyting you need even a special tool to put in a hole saw to inlarge the holes for the lower a-arm support that is beeefer then any others I have seen. THe kit without dropped spindles will lower the vehicle some 5". I can send some pictures but the quility of the pictures are not good it was scanned from film b4 I had a digital camera. yeah i would love the pics. thanks for the # i'll be looking them up for tis kit, you seem to have the best input about this. the truck is lowered 5" without dropped spindles? how many inches is between the ground and the front bumper cause my truck already seems to sit low in the front and 5" would put it on the ground i'll measure between my bumper and the ground thanks!!!! gwilkrrs@aol

You should probably contact the tech support for the manufacturers of these parts. They will likely have the answers you need.
