I put my motorcraft 2150 on an offy C series with a mr gasket adapter (which sucks) and made my own throttle bracket. The adapter was a 4 to 2 bbl, but it didn't seal at the back of the carb, so the adapter needed a sheetmetal adapter.

Check out clifford.com they have an adaptor that will go between your intake manifold and the new carb. It's pretty straight forward, you may need to modify your throttle linkage a little or re-route a vac line or two but it's no big deal.
