I remember when I first joined, I saw one of those, the guy had been jacking around with it and turned the dimmer switch all the way up (so in interior light came on), and in his quest to fix the problem, never ever ever thought to check that...

HA HA HA, I broke my tornado, thats a good one Joeiski !!!! I've heard of people complaining they don't work, but never of people thinking they broke it, "thats just to much" ha ha ha.

you could always just tell them cranking the torsion bars elevates the mercury switch and will turn the light off and put the tornado at the proper angle for max efficiency
