Sorry I haven't visited in a while, I went on a deployment to the "sand box". Everytime I deploy I always see how great U.S.A. is and how many freedoms and luxuries we have.
I think that people that don't know how good they have it should take a trip to Iraq or Afghanistan, it's a real eye openner. It helps you appreciate even the small things.
I am proud to be an American and proud to serve in USAF.
It's feels great to be home!
Glad your home. God Bless and thank you for your help in this horrible war(s) and all the men and women around you in Uniform. I salute you!

Be Safe!
In the past five years, I've done two years over there (both countries, combat) with specops. It never leaves you. But, I second AF Mezkin, we are happy to be the tiny fraction of a percent of the population willing and able to forgoe fortunes, comfort, and the guarantee of life to ensure freedom. Today, my 7 yr old daughter has invited me to her class to tell the story of Veterans Day and what it means to her generation.
thanks for yours and the service of the many others over there. and more so to those and the greiving families of those who payed the ultimate to help keep us safe from those who oppose us haveing the freedoms we have here.
being a nam vet. my very deep thanks goes out to every fte member and every member of all 5 branches of our services for your time and service to this proud and free country.
