i have a superchips gold i think it is. it came with the truck and i think he said it gives it a extra 60 or 80 horse. its tow safe and you plug it into the pcm and leave it. if you want it make an offer and its urs.

I have an Edge tuner, and would not go with a chip if you gave one to me. My friend has a chip, and is envious of the tuning capabilities I have.

Hmmmm....I 'll envy you as your sitting the side of the road swichin programs while I go by switchin on the fly! Also a good chip(wildman or dp) will give ya more power hands down. I've tried both.....

I have the Edge evolution with Attitude on the fly programmer, and I stacked my older Edge Evolution programmer on top of it. It is worth the extra bucks to get an on the fly programmer/ tuner.

Ok...ya proably have a newer 99+ powerstroke right....
The OBS powerstrokes are quite a different animal, I don't think they even have the "Edge Attitude" for the older trucks.
With that even said....If ya want a surprise, give a chip from Dp or Tony a try.

I did the SC 1705 thing. Not saying it's better, but I got it locally for a good price and I have the code reader with it. That helped me swing it past the wife. There are upsides to everything!

Would one of you Tony Wildman Chip enthusiasts please give me a ballpark price and some of the features or characteristics of his chips that make them so desirable?
