Frame VIN Question
I have a '79 f-150 4x4 frame. I can not find the frame ID Numbers. It had almost not rust, but was sandblasted and painted anyway. I have been all over this frame and could not find any vin Numbers. On a post a few days ago I heard they are stamped on the top passenger side rail between Radiator support and firewall, Also maybe under the cab floor. Currently, I only have the motor and transmission mounted. so i can see the entire frame well.
Is ther any other possible location on the frame?

thats where all of my trucks are stamped. haven't seen one yet that isn't there.... it's there unless somebody ground it off for some reason.... mine is extremely easy to see., i just put my cab on my frame after stripping it and paint. it's in two spots. under the cab and just behind the motor mount on the top of the frame....
