What should I do?
I have a 1987 Ford ranger, with the 302 V8, titanium exaust, k&n air filter, titanium exahust headers, aluminum fly wheel, 6 speed manual transmission F-150 axles ect, my girl friend thinks the truck looks like !@#$, and said I should send it to the junk yard, I was just getting ready to replace the fuel and electrical systems, since they are not functioning very well. I should have used the donor fuel lines seeing mine are really clogged. But, should I do that, then a paint job when I can aford to? or I could send it to the junk yard, or sell it? what should I do? Also, my paint job isn't really that bad, Some kids keyed the driver's side last halloween, and someone else shot it with a bb gun by the gas cap, I also have a small dent in the passenger front fender. No real rust, except some minor flecks on the roof railings..... ideas please?

It's your truck.....and your $$ your girlfriend wants you to spend. If you enjoy the truck and don't mind riding around in it, then fix what needs fixin. Tell her you're going to spend the money you're gonna save (well, some of it anyway) on a nice Christmas present for her.

is this your only vehicle. if it is then i she your gf's point you probably want something more reliable. but on the other hand and don't kick me off the site for saying this but i had a 77 chevy c10 that i had everything but the some body work done to and i traded it in on my ranger. i wish everyday i had not done it. not that i don't like my ranger i love it, i just wish i hadn't traded my other truck. tell your gf that you know ur truck is ugly but it's ur truck. tell her that you wanted one beautful thing in your life and the truck just wasn't cutting it so that's why you go out with her. tell her that she's the only good looking thing you need. AND YOU"RE NOT GETTING RID OF UR TRUCK> end of story take it or leave it. oh and tell her you love her (if you do,if you don't then don't worry about it)

If you are going to send it to the junk yard, give it to me instead. I need a toy, not really, but I'd have a hard time turning it down

Ole trucks don't let you down much, never talk back, more than I can say about girlfriends. Some guy's have had ole trucks for 50 years, but have had 3 wives and a dozen girlfriends in that time, get my point ?
