Need Help with Cruise Control Issue

I replaced this switch over the weekend and cruise control is back to normal. I called up the dealer they had the switch the fallowing day. Literally, the job was 15 minutes including the test-drive.

Good to hear, funny the dealership told me they replace them on a frequent basis on SportTracs but it isn't a recall. The techy told me that he uses a paperclip to jump the switch as one of his diagnostic "tools".

Gee, isn't that sweet! Wasn't there a movie about something along the lines of a known default and every time a vehicle was turning and was rear ended it blew up? It was cheaper to pay off the dead then fix it. Just in Hollywood.
