How about both?!?! crazy as it sounds, that seems like the most practical of the mods in the entire mess of useless alterations in those pictures. There would actually be an application for something like that in the urban warfare of the future.
By the way, where did you get that pic? That is not US military is it? I know they use Lincoln trucks in afghanistan, but I haven't heard of Ford being modded for them yet.
Good old Iraq - but I think it's civilian contractors, not the military, but I could be wrong ...I was wrong once- at least I thought I was wrong and it turned out I was right anyway......
I know one thing, in the total of around 20 years of backroading and trail exploring, I have yet to come across one of those "fancy" city trucks in any of my travels. They are pretty sharp, and lots and lots of bucks. I would guesstimate 99% of the trucks in those pics would not do very well on the old logging roads and trails on Van Isle where I grew up. They wont fit !!!
