Shortening the throw?

Is there any way to shorten the length of the throw of a "three on the tree"?

Shortening the throw?

You could lengthen the shift arms on the bottom of the column linkage,or shorten the shift arms on the transmission. It would take more talent than I'VE got, have to be careful not to mess up the neutral gate alignment.

Shortening the throw?

you could also shorten the shifter handle itself and get a smaller wheel so you can reach it.
