I just ordered an add-a-leaf for the front of my truck. I also want to put shocks on it, but I'm not sure whether or not to get stock size ones or not. The people I bought the add a leaf from say that new shocks aren't required, but are the shocks that come with most leveling kits longer than stock? Also, do yall have any recomendations on shock brands-I'm on a tight budget I don't really want to go for bilsteins or anything like that. Are the shocks that NAPA or Advance sell for these trucks any good? Thanks

 

i put 2.5 inch on front of my 02 ex and kept orignal shocks,no problem.with hindsight i should have put 1.5 inch because now rear end is low when towing,will have to add blocks.
