Vacuum issues cont.
A couple months I posted on here that I thought I was having vacuum issues on my 06 2.3L 5spd. The problem then was when I was using the ac and aftermarket cruise the ac would switch to the defrost vents and the cruise would shut off. I haven't had that problem since then though.
I have a mightyvac which I used to test for vacuum leaks. The cruise control, the climate control.. everything held twenty pounds for several minutes without dropping. The engine was putting out twenty+ pounds. It did take more pumps on the climate control when it was on the "OFF" position though.
Currently the idle is dropping down to 500 then back up 750 basically everytime I let off the gas, stopping coasting etc. Other 2.3L Duratec owners is this normal? The only thing that worries me is that it's stucking dirt if there's a leak. It seems to run fine besides that.. gas mpg isn't as good as it was but that could be the winter gas. Any suggestions? I'm going to make a appointment on Thursday at the dealership unless you guys can think of something which I overlooked.
