sick 4.9

i did a tuneup on my neighbors 90 F150 4.9 auto trans last Sunday. the truck has 175,000 miles on it.
i told him to put a can of seafoam in the gas tank, cause it was still running a little rough, so on Monday afternoon, he poured a full can of seafoam in the gas tank, figuring that if the can said it is good for 30 gallons, it would work better with only had 1/4 tank.
then of Friday, he put 10 gallons of gas and a bottle of gumout in it.

this morning, he came over saying it was not running rite.
it has a dead miss, and runs like crap. i pulled the throttle body and cleaned it, cause it has never been cleaned. while the truck idles better now, it still has a dead miss.
this sound like a clogged injector, rite??

check the spark plug wiring order, real easy to switch 4 and 5.

are all plugs tight?

what exactly does 'tuneup' mean to you?

you did use motorcraft plugs, right?

was it running rough before you started?

double check the plug wires are on the correct plugs, yes i know you wrote down the correct order.

what else did you touch when hood was open? maybe you knocked a vacuum line off or an elec. connector.

the truck was running fine after the tuneup, with the exception of a slight hesitation due to the dirty throttle body.
the problem started after the multiple high doses of seafoam and gumout.

maybe all the crap floating around after the seafoam fouled some plugs up.

o2 sensor may be suspect also.

the plugs are all clean, there are no trouble codes, and the cel is not on.

if the 02 sensor was fouled, it would throw a code or trip the cel, no??
