Fellow orphan spotted on the highway in San Diego.

I drove my 57 to Vegas this week to attend a wedding. On my way out of San Diego I saw a shiney red old truck being followed by an equally shiney red 60's mustang. So I sped up to get a better look at the truck and as I suspected it was a fellow Orphan, a red 58 with a chrome grill hauling a lazy boy. So with a big goofy grin on my face I waved at the owner and kept going, then I had to throttle down a bit because I was floggin the motor a bit more then I'm comfortable doing.

He passed me a few miles later so I got another good look at the truck. Man it sure was nice. You know the bug has bitten you pretty hard when you get excited about seeing a truck with the same body style as yours on the road. It's the first time it's happened to me since I bought the truck.
