heater not working

i have a 99 superduty with a 7.3 but the heater is stuck on defrost and wont switch to floor or vent could it be the switch or maybe something with vacuum any suggestions

Hi, d you her a vacuum leak under the dash? i no vacuum, te directing door will not operate properly if at all. Do you get heated air? Or, the dooriself is possibly stuck.

i did find a vacuum line under the glove box that was apart but fixed that and still didnt make a difference i have good heat but it just wont switch to anything else

Had same problem last year, it was my blend door, it was stuck over for a/c.
