Rust on a 2004 Window E350!

The bolts through the windows are rusting! Now I need to swap out or stop the rust. WOW

If you're talking about the little round, black bolts, like in the rear doors, they are quite costly I found. My stereo system rattled them loose, one came out, bolts and nuts are sold seperate, cost me $40 for 8 of them 3 years ago, they are sold in packs of 8 only.

Yup, mine are doing it too, '04 E350. I may just coat them with a rust-converter, then oil-base black paint. Probably easier that way, and cheaper.

Or just go to Ace and buy some stainless steel for 50 cents each.

They are not your adverage bolts, I highly suggest you go with origional only, they are designed for the hole, and have a gasket to seal and prevent breaking the glass.
