freese plugs

i think i poped a freeze plug, just how hard is it to replace?? are they screw in or are they hammer in?? its a 7.3. thankyou

They hammer in. Spread some sealant round the edge first. Do not over hammer.

As lazyK said - They hammer in w/ sealant.

Use a socket as a driver that just fits inside the freezeplug - they go in pretty easy if you have decent access to swing the hammer.

it is just infront of the oil filter.
