Crazy Idea ??????
Hello, A friend of mine has a 1948 cowl and chassis delivery van. The van body is made by an aftermarket company. It is an F-1. What do ou think about making this into a 1948 Roadster pick up with a Model A roadster type windshield, standard bed and full running boards. Make it look like a Ford factory built 1948 Roadster pickup. This may be a future project. I got this idea from open cab fire engines of the era.I would never cut up a good F-1 cab so a cowl and chassis would be perfect for this type of conversion. What do Y'all think ?

I think Custom Classic Truck magazine featured a similar critter a couple of years ago, but the project was about a '50 C***y and looked good in the mag. Pale blue if I remember right.
I'd say go for it, take lots of pics and have a ton of fun with it.
