Starting Problem - Help
My 2000 E350 Van did not start today. I checked everything from the starter to the battery. Here is the kicker, I slam the hood and it will start, once or twice. Then I turn the key and its dead again. I slam the hood and it starts again, 9 out of 10 times.... Help

I would think a bad connection, quite possibly a bad relay under the hood. I don't know how your bay is arranged, but check your relays to be sure they click on and off.
Is the motor turning over and not firing or just not turning over?

I have checked relays and fuses, I have looked at all connections as far as I can tell. I am sure its something stupid, I thought a kill switch on the hood but know wiring to latch... ?? There lays the problem

Slamming the hood and it works means you have a bad connection. A loose ground, stickey relay or dirty solenoid still come to mind. When it next doesn't start, take a wrench or rubber mallot to the relay box, any grounds you see and the solenoid. Try starting the motor after you have tapped each once a couple of times. When you finally get it started the last thing you tapped is probibly the problem.
