Aerostar frame PICs

With the rack pointing almost straight up how is it going to clear motor mounts and headers? It may adapt if you run a 6 banger.
Others have commented on that flimsy upper A arm and the Aerostars penchant for eating brakes.
IMO the jury is still out on this swap.
More witness commentary needed!
I suppose it could be that it did not work out for him. More likely an abandoned project though. I was looking at Aerostars in the salvage yard the other day. They look to be as stout as a Volare or MII to me. I bet they have a higher GVW rating than either. I sure wish I was complaining of premature brake pad wear instead of rotors rusting in the garage from lack of use due to my slow completion rate
I agree we need some more feedback from completed Aerostar clip installs. Regards

The rack can be hooked up with 3 u-joints and a stabilizer. A way around that would be to fabricate mounts so that you could rotate the rack towards the firewall. I know some guys on this site have done that. This entire frame costs less than a Mustang II kit to be installed on your frame. No, I do not know the seller.
